Anyone know a place where I can get a tattoo removal ? Anyone had one removed ? What does it involve ? How much is it ? Does it hurt ?

 

Mr Personality on Woodseats , Chesterfield Road do laser removal but i dont know how much it would cost?

I had one a few years back from a place off Abbeydale road. You would have to look up the exact address in Yellow Pages but they were excellent.......it was a woman tattoist too.

the real beauty is not actually having some bit of of ink stained on your skin - but to be looking natural without one. A tiny tattoo strategically placed (on a woman) can be really sexy and tasteful - much like a belly ring. However nowt tasteful about a snake down the neck or tattoos down the arms.

 

best of luck with deciding about your tattoo - but make sure that you know of a good laser removals specialist - what the marks it will leave look like as well. Alternatively - go for a tattoo that will last only a few years

I walk past every night and thought the same - cannot comment on the quality of the work - but the (lack of) design of the shop front isnt going to give you much confidence in the artwork within. Maybe they haven't moved in properly yet?

Hi TJC1 no it's not true. They are harder to remove but if you use a Ruby Laser these colour can be moves just as much as Black, Browns Purples and Reds.

It would depend on what your 'end game' is in relation to the removal.

 

If you will eventually need a cover up then you wont need to remove these colours anyway since it can be covered with ease. Reds can be removed anyway should you want it. Laser is recognised as the most effective tattoo removal treatment, see the wikipedia link in my signature for information on tattoo removal.

My husband wants to get rid of a SUFC badge from the top of his arm. There is no way it could be covered up as its bigger than a digestive and mainly black.

 

He would consider having a new tattoo there once the badge is gone but ideally would like to get rid altogether. Happy to pay for laser treatment but would like feedback from someone who as actually had it done. cheers

Hi, My partner has had a tattoo removed by rejuvi, although he has not had laser removal. He would be happy to talk through the rejuvi method with your husband if he would like to talk to someone that has actually had it done (and who is qualified to remove it if he wishes to proceed).

If you want feedback on laser removal I'll speak to a few of my current customers to see if any would be happy to talk to you about it, if that helps.

 

Black is the ideal colour for laser removal, as well as being fast.

For reduction prior to cover up it requires less treatments overall and we charge a flat rate of £40 per treatment (which can effectively cover up to a half sleeve tattoo).
