pete_fcs 11 #1 Posted February 8, 2007 as the last century drew to a close, i became aware that i'd got into the habit of shopping at aldi every friday. surely there was more to life? baked beans on toast is good for me i'm having beans for my tea baked beans only cost nine pee i got some beans today form aldi some baked beans and some garibaldi biscuits, bread and cuppa soup the girl remembered all the prices and the bread, i counted sixteen slices that's less than a penny a slice my life is all in aldi bags i survive on beans and fags newspapers and porno mags man cannot live on bread alone i tell myself as i go home so i'm having baked beans on some bread at less than a penny a slice Share this post Link to post Share on other sites Share this content via...
Mantaspook 11 #2 Posted February 8, 2007 A nice little muse, needs a title though, how about “Aldi time in the world” The last two lines could rhyme better, maybe something like: So I’m having baked beans on some bread that is nice And it’s costing me less than a penny a slice.
