Mechanic advise

Recommended Posts

My car was hit recently from behind, it has been in the garage being repaired, & I have recieved the car back yesterday.

However since I have had it back, it is making a grinding noise when you turn a corner, which didnt happen before the accident.

So I have taken it back to the garage today & they say that the drive shaft has gone, but it isnt accident related.

So not knowing much about cars, is it worth getting a second opinion, can the drive shaft just go, is it a coinsidence that it has just gone.

Is it within my rights to complain the the gargage/insurance company.

Help appreciated.

Also does £500 sound resonable to repair the drive shaft.
