Marmite Man   10 #1 Posted August 9, 2004 We have just had some rather expensive (for us), patio doors installed, unfortunately our dog didn't quite realise their existance and put a rather fetching claw mark down the middle of the door.  Anybody know if we can get the scratches out? I''ve heard they can be polished out with "jeweller's rouge" - Where vcan I find this stuff??  Over to the expert.  Ta.
 Share this content via...
Tony   10 #2 Posted August 9, 2004 Try toothpaste first - an abrasive one, not bicarb. It's worth a try if it's not too deep.  EDIT: This is probably stating the obvious but use it neat on your finger - not with a toothbrush and water . hj dary   10 #3 Posted August 20, 2004 I worked for a little while in a double glazing place where they always had rouge kicking about. We never used it because it was crap!! It just dosn't work on anything except the lightest of 'scuffs'.
 Share this content via...
