littleblue   10 #2 Posted January 21, 2007 Have you tried looking in the home decorating magazines? Country homes for the more traditional Laura Ashley styles, Elle decoration etc etc.  They might not be exactly what you want and the stuff they show can be really expensive but its a good way of getting started. littleblue   10 #6 Posted January 21, 2007 Thats ok. Saves me looking like an idiot hitting F5!  All I know is that by reading loads of magazines and knowing what you like is the best way to decide what to do!
 Share this content via...

littleblue   10 #8 Posted January 21, 2007 Oooh I've got some advice. DO NOT TRUST SHADE CARDS!! 1 inch square will look VERY different when its plastered over a wall..  This coming from the person who had a battle ship grey wall for a day!! hanskiz   10 #9 Posted January 21, 2007 He he! That doesn't sound like fun! Its true that even the most gorgeous colour can turn out to be all wrong though... Tester pots are definitely the way forward, even if they do make your house look like a patchwork quilt for a few weeks!!
 Share this content via...
