I am moving Kent Road in Heeley soon and cannot for the life of me figure out which buses go along Gleadless Road to the Co-op and medical centre. Please help as i am starting to panic!!

The 47 goes up or down Gleadless Rd to the Co-Op

I don't think it's the 48 bus. Cos 48 bus goes up Heeley Bank road and onto East Rd, then onto East Bank Road.... It's in a different direction.

You need to check out whether 47 actually reaches Kent Rd itself. I've not taken the 47 after its changed into the new route.

Best thing is to go to the interchange in the city centre and ask them which number goes onto Kent Road itself. In both directions.

Quite right, Bago. The 48 goes via Olive Grove to East Bank Road, then down to Newfield Green. It misses out Heeley Green altogether. The nearest bus to Kent Road of any frequency is the 33 or 47, depending on which end of Kent Road you want.

The 47 goes up Gleadless Road to Heeley Green and then carries on up to Newfield Green. Get off at the junction of Carrfield Avenue outside the Co-op, walk back to the Waggon Horses and then up Kent Road.

Am I also right in thinking that 76 does not go up via Kent Road to reach its final destination (Low Edges?) away from the city centre? I don't know whether it goes via Kent Rd on the way towards the city centre, but I'm fairly sure it misses Kent Rd when going up. Cos it goes from London Rd to Abbeydale Rd, then onto Woodseat Rd, and onto Chesterfield Rd, and then Abbey Lane etc...
