Missdan
There has to be 'news' for them to report. What happened in Sheffield today ? Anything ? Anyone ? Ther must have been something other than Ken Dodd appearing at the Arena
tomjerry
I would be glad to get news about the Sheffield region. Even Leeds. I live extremely close to Sheffield City Centre - and guess which news I have to endure each day (both Look North & Calendar)? Grimsby, Hull, Scunthorpe, Kings Lynn, Lincoln. Gosh - I am so not going to go to any of these desolate places.

BoroughGal
It's all to do with where you get your signal from. If you get it from Holme Moss (??) then you get West Yorkshire regional news (when it goes to "your area"), if you get the signal from Crosspool booster station, you get all the Sheffield news. Not Calendars fault.

matsalleh
There has to be 'news' for them to report. What happened in Sheffield today ? Anything ? Anyone ? Quote I bought a fishing rod and reel. I have a big hole in the pavement so that I can't get out of the front door, due to having a total electricity failure on New Years Day.Fair dues to them they restored supply within 3 hours of my phoning them.Luckily it was the cable outside so no charge to me. The Owls goal was shown on Look North, that's the most newsworthy event.
