barns101
I would have though that you'd be able to get autographs off eBay.
ChrisTodd
If this is going to be a business you need to register that fact with the Inland Revenue. If you need any help give us a call. http://www.c-todd.com
teeandjoe
Good morning, i dont know if people have seen my other post reguarding this but i though i would stick it up here aswell, so more people can see it. Me and my partner are starting a membrobillia business that also incorporates photography and art from creative local people. What we are looking for is artists/photographers/autograph hunters in the local area to join our network of people who can supply there work for sale. Obvioulsy Art and photography will be issued to us for us to sell and the artist to get a percentage of each one sold. We will provide framing and a point of sale for the art and photographs to be seen and noticed aswell as sold to the general public. Do you like collecting autographs......? We are also seeking people to collect the autographs on photos and moments in time wether it be Michael Vaughan or Doncaster rovers footballer Graeme Lee. All need to be local in interest although anything will be considered. Again a percentage will be paid to the person who gains the signature although a photo will need to be included of you gaining the autograph for authenticity purposes. There is a real opportunity to make money from this aswell as join in with this very interesting and fantastic business idea. Local art/photographs and memrobillia for the local area. If you can help in anyway or wish to join our mailing list. Or if you would just like to add your comments and advice then this would be greatly recieved. Either post your details here or mail me at joe.york@hotmail.co.uk. Thanks for reading, and i look forward to speaking with you in the future. never wrong
Just one point I think you you get the percentage for what you sell not the other way round. I think I know what you mean but to infer a percentage in the way you do in the post comes over as the smaller bit of the revenue
teeandjoe
Never wrong you are obvously right and it is clear i have not worked this properly. The artist/photographer would get the lions share of courss. I would take my share for the extra services offered, such as a point of sale, advertiseing, showing the work of the artist etc. I am trying to build relationships with local gallerys/resteraunts etc for the work to be show, plus i will have a website and plans for the furture include a show/gallery. I am looking to introduce myself to people and from there percentages would be disussed face to face. Hope this explains this better but if you have anymore questions then dont hesitate to come back to me. Thanks

RosyRat
teeandjoe Don't mean to be negative, but if you're setting up a business you won't inspire much confidence in it unless you can actually spell the product you're supplying. Not memrobillia. Memorabilia.
