Plain Talker
I'm a bit puzzled, here... what is extreme about having your dog neutered/ spayed? Any responsible dog-owner who does not plan to breed their dog, and, potentially, add to the obscene numbers of stray and abandoned dogs should get their dog, male and female, "doctored". a neutered animal is a healthier, longer-lived, less aggressive animal. all my dogs and cats I have owned in the last 20 -some years have been "done". it's irresponsible not to have a non-breeding bitch spayed. Quite apart from the hassle of her coming in heat every six months, she is at risk of a deadly disease , an infection in her womb, called Pyometra, if she's not doctored. medusa
You haven't got your mind set to 'think silly' PT- the quote is about offering money to people for spaying and neutering. It doesn't say anything about the money being to spay and neuter their dogs.
