fierysatsuma
Got an issue I've taken up with the council regarding the persistent barking coming from a garden across the river from me - about 50 yards from my house. Unfortunately I cannot clearly identify the precise garden or address of the offending dog (owner). The Council (Barnsley) have advised me there is nothing at all they can do unless I can confirm the precise location/address! Is it my responsibility or the Council's to investigate the address? Am I expected to tresspass to find out where the dog is - all I know is it is locked in somesort of shed/housing. Is noise pollution similar to general pollution - I cannot imagine that I would be expected to provide details of the source if say the river was polluted! cgksheff
How have you made your complaint? How have they replied? Have you spoken to one of your local councillors? Have you looked on the Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council website? If you don't know where it is ... how can you make assumptions about a dog being locked up?
