Johhny p you look like a piggy norton i used to know, who knew how to beat the old pinball machine in the george pub. yep Ive heard of pete oldham, think he's got a sister called josette, remember jane and gail monks, but cant think of the brothers name. piggy the original pinball wizard. :thumbsup:

I knew an Andy Mellor, I think he was a grave digger. I think he lived on Mauncer Cres

I'm born and bred Woodhouse, now live on Mauncer Cres, my mum and grandparents were off the 'Island' grandparents were George (Jud) and Edith (Edie) Kelk..

the brothers are chris,jackie,andrew and mark, andrew was my brother in law :)

i lived in woodus all my life on southsea rd mum still lives there we are the sandy family used to knock about with the jenkinsons good times and the dentons/ laxs /powells from corwen place

Where is this island please?

 

The island was where the sewerage is now at woodhouse mill across from the princess royal pub. There used to be rows of old terrace houses like the ones on falconer lane a bit further up before treeton dyke.

I am so sorry- I only just saw this- of course we remember your Dad and Mum. We last were back in Woodhouse over 10 years ago.
