Story: 'Bernard's Drum Roll.'

Recommended Posts

Hold a coin at arm's length and the obverse is facing you, yet a friend will see the reverse. Two points of view, each equally valid.

Taking this as the theme of ambiguity try the following ambiguous piece.

I've written it in three sections. The first and third sections are mostly the same, with a change of spelling for the title and different text colouring in places in the third section.

Bernard's Drum Roll.

Should there be any comments, could I request that no-one reveals the ending, please?

I've had a quick glance at it Hopman.....I will read it fully later today. It looks to be another great contribution from your goodself....and a good example of your great ingenuity with your writing. :)

Co-Leader Note:....please respect the wishes of the author of this piece and keep the ending a secret.

Nice one Hopman

I like your style.

I must admit, I didn’t cotton on.

I swear I didn't peek at its ending when I glanced earlier and posted, Hopman. :)

I have just read it all the way through.

You caught me out completely with the second section......:hihi:

It's a hard one to follow now. I'll really have to get my thinking cap on this month.

That was a really subtle story there Hopman, I didn’t anticipate the ending either, the writing was that good I was back in 18th century France.

Well done, a nice piece of work.

It does seem up to date with Saddam Hussains execution. It was very clever.
