Tarquin
Took my eldest son today down to Currys so he could buy himself a TV with his chrimbo money. All was fine until until we got to the TV department. To actually get the attention of a sales assistant was nigh on impossible.Couldn't even get eye contact with one.Loads of assistants but most of them doing **** all.Eventually after about 20 minutes I managed to get one of them(I was getting to the point where I starting thinking that they did'nt want a sale.).Anyway my son's first choice was on display but ........out of stock !!!!!! Second choice was in stock but the price was wrong. Was priced £200 more that then price displayed. So he bought it:hihi: .Then it took about half an hour to get it from the back room to the actual shop.(By this time I'd had a fag).A bloke brought the tv & stand out on a trolley & asked me where I was parked.I pointed to where the car was parked & he gave a look of "I'm not taking it that distance".So I said I'll bring the car to the front door.As he was loading the stand into the car the tv was blown over in the wind.Trolley bloke informed me they have loads of packaging."Oh really" I replied.I thought I'll be back in 20 minutes if it's damaged ,****.All in all terrible service:loopy:
Sheffielder
So you're complaining (in one looooooooong sentence) that the staff didn't hassle you and you got a tv for £200 less than you were expecting to pay ?

BluePolo
Try walking round turning off the TVs that are on. If that doesn't work, find the main light switch and turn the lights on and off. I'll be surprised if these didn't get some attention...
ANDIM68
It surprises me this, are they all not on commision? for how much they sell with extended warranty / guarantee etc! The more they sell the more they earn.
Zimily
yeah they're on commission, but who actually wants to work New Years Eve...probably all thinking about going out to enjoy the celebrations, and who balmes them really???
