goldenfleece
Whats the MAX you would pay for entry to a typical Twon centre bar/pub on New Years Eve...assume NO SPECIAL big name DJS or entertainment, just a standard DJ and nothing else......... D2J
If it's just a standard DJ and no different to any other night then £
muddycoffee
I would pay to get into a club, but not to go into a pub which is essentially similar to what a normal night would be. Although I would be happy to pay if there was live music, if it was someone quite notable. But I would be annoyed if it was just a local band. It annoys the hell out of me normally that, 33% of pubs have a ticket or charge only 33% are just closed, because the remaining 33% seem always to have a normal amount of custom. If there was so much demand so you would need to pay, why are not the pubs which have free entry full up. It is purely greedy landlords..

fnkysknky
Nothing - if the pub can't be arsed to put the effort in then I'm certainly not paying.

Ha3el
nothing! id go to the next pub instead its not like sheffield isnt full of them! i may pay a quid to get in if its somewhere i like where we go every week such as bedroom since it has a bit of a dancefloor etc, but for a standard sit-around-and-drink pub i wouldnt bother id go somewhere else. door charging on pubs for sake of it is jus greedy unless its aimed for charity. id pay good money for clubs where they are putting on events or good djs etc but then its worth it. hazel xx
