jenniker
Hi I am looking for people who would like to join me for playing board games. The idea is to meet in a pub and have a few games over a pint. Everyone could bring their favourite game and we could then decide which one we would like to play. if you don´t have one, don´t worry - I have a few. Anyone interested? jenniker
I know that the Riverside (around Kelham Island) offers games that people can use. If we go during the week, it will be fairly empty and I am sure they won´t mind (we are still buying drinks).

Becky B
Sounds like fun! Board games are a dying entertainment I think, but it's a shame. They're more sociable than a playstation/xbox/etc etc
jenniker
Yes, that's true. Especially when it takes place in a nice relaxing environment. So, get in touch if you feel like having a game. Everyone is welcome and it will be easy-going and a good laugh. Jen
christomancy
Hi Jen, That sounds great - I have just discovered Cluedo and am addicted already. And I love scrabble, even though I'm always one letter away from making a fantastically high-scoring word PM me if you want to try to arrange something - I'm free most evenings except Wednesdays. rubydazzler
Hiya again jenniker, and HNY. It's been done and it's fun! Some of us used to take games to Trippets when EManGroovin had a games/music night there and redrobbo and others used to play mahjong in the DevCat. I'm not sure whether that's still going on either. I'd come along and have a go certainly.
