Knee pain! Any advice please...

Recommended Posts

I'm stuck on nights for a few days so I'm in bed when I should be trying to get to my quacks for some advice, but here are the symptoms so all theories/advice appreciated.

Right knee cap has 1 really tender spot on it, which is on the inside of the knee cap. If I catch it, I get a stabbing pain right across the knee.

The knee cap itself is giving a sensation of "floating", and I can't put any pressue directly on to the knee.

Ok walking and driving so far......

Any :help: really appreciated as I can't get into the quacks until early next week.

Cheers

Jim:thumbsup:

I'm having exactly the same problem! And I'm also on nights, maybe it's something to do with that. I've tried some ibuleve gel but to no avail! Help me too!

Watch excercising with this - when my knee felt like this this time last year it was a 'silent tear' on the cartilage.

It soon got very much more painful (sorry) but is now much better.

I don't know whether it is a cartilage problem - it might be a torn ligament, but I'd get someone to look at it before self-treating with excercise. I was put on an excercise programme eventually, but only after they identified what it was, as the wrong excercises at teh start would have made it much worse.

Good Luck.

Might have just knocked it, and it's just a bit of deep bruising?

I always get it happening to my knees and elbows because of the training I do.

Get into a hot bath and get your knuckles into it. Break a leg

(Sorry)
