ELSoames
could be the other cat is attacking the one with the scabs and that is the result of small wounds. My ginger cat comes home with timy scabs on his head usually in a paw shape, bless him!

Lotti
It could be that she has some sort of skin allergy. If you've given the scabs enough time to heal - remember flea treatments can take a while - and the other cat definitely doesn't have fleas - check with a fine nit comb - then I'd take her to the vet to check. If the vet can't diagnose it on first seeing it, they'll be able to take a skin swab and see if it's an infection or allergy etc.
MARY POPPINS
I think probably tomorrow you should take her to the vets, sounds like some form of skin allergy,or could still be fleas, and she will be making them worse by sratching, either way it needs looking at, also it could be something contagious I'd mention to the vet about your other cat. Lotti
I don't know all that much about mange amyrach but I guess it could be... why would that make you thick Still think you should see a vet, they'll be able to suggest the best treatment for mange if that's what it is, or provide an alternative diagnosis. sooz22
They are not circular are they? or any small circular bald patches? Just incase its ringworm which is contagious to people too.
medusa
It would be almost impossible to have an indoor cat that lives in a house full of other animals and be the only one affected by an infectious disease like mange or ringworm though- and this is Amy's situation. I'm inclined to think that this is an allergic situation because of the rash of small scabs and the lack of other animals being involved, but for diagnosis the vet has to see it- so that's what I've advised Amy to do, and hopefully Peggy will be feeling a bit less itchy and sore soon.
