hever
'The gardens would be a nice place to reintroduce the native red squirrel, just need to get rid of the foreign invaders 1st ' NoPests, those 'foreign invaders' were actually deliberately introduced to the UK in the 19th century. So if we're looking for who to blame for the demise of the red squirrel, I think we should be looking at our Victorian ancestors. Whilst I understand the impact they have on the red population, it is unfair to blame them for thriving in environments that are perfect for their survival, any species would do the same.
