Does anybody know if Derby railway station is signposted from the motorway?

Derby train station is sign posted from the motorway junction. I am picking up my brother from there late tonight and I know to get off at j25 of M1 but i have no idea where the train station is. Can you help pls.

and assuming you live round Sheffield get off at Jnc 28 and follow the A38 towards Derby. Jnc 25 approaches from the Nottm direction.

 

It will not be signposted from the motorway - too far.

At the top you will see the island at Breadsall, assuming you have come southwards from jnc 28 on the A38 - this is a BIG island, go southwards on A61 dont continue on A38 after here or you will be skirting Derby and heading in direction of Burton & Birmingham?

 

Now see the island at bottom of page? It's where the A61 meets the A52, you can change the scale if you wish on the map, the station is close by..........

See the island at top? That's the one you have approached by coming down the A61 (or you WOULD approach had you come from jnc 25)

If you get off the A 38 signposted Derby and follow Sir Frank Whittle Road into Derby the station is signposted all the way into the city centre, quite easy to get to really.
