JoeP
Hi, Yesterday morning we had a problem on the Forum - http://www.sheffieldforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=171439 Whilst this was being tidied up, we took the opportunity to remove old posts from some parts of the Forum - classified, events, etc. as well as reports. This has resulted in post counts going down - I lost 5,000.

JoeP
Oh noooooo! I wanted to get to a thousand posts It will take me ages to get back to where I was We do this every 6 months or so - if we didn't the Forum would go slower and the file server would gradually fill up until we needed ANOTHER one to put it all on. Harleykim
Oh poo...Is there anyway we can keep our number under our name? Sorry, I appreciate there will be space problems if you keep the posts, but the number?
JoeP
Oh poo...Is there anyway we can keep our number under our name? Sorry, I appreciate there will be space problems if you keep the posts, but the number? Sorry - the number is generated automatically. It's not stored anywhere - the system counts your posts and works it out 'on the fly' whenever you make a post.
