Meaks
OK, so Hillsborough Shopping Centre is a bit of a waste of time at the best of times, but I planned to call in last night for the 'late' (8pm) night shopping after work to get some cards and a few bits and pieces to save me some time at the weekend. What a JOKE! While the Shopping Centre was indeed open it seemed that they had negelected to inform any of the shops. There were FOUR shops open, one of which was Jack Fultons and one of which was Peacocks... The only card shop open was the 59p one. It was laughable. I ended up grabbing a cheap bottle of wine from Home Bargains and going home and drinking it. More to do tomorrow now.

Jilly69
Hillsborough is nothing like it was a few years ago. The shopping centre did used to be good but has sadly been neglected.

Oh yeah, I used to spend hours in GT News reading the computer mags... Now there's no decent paper shops that sell mags in the whole Hillsborough area short of going right up to Morrison's
semerpus
hillsborough shopping centre is a joke! the precient is dirty, dingy full of chavs and big issue sellers at the main door. All attempts to update it have failed.A public toilet somewhere in it would be nice! Woolworths was spoilt when they split in down the middle to create superdrug. and now two empty shops on the corner..will the hario's one on the corner of holme lane ever open? Hillsbrough used to be an excellent place to shop but massively declined over the years.
