Grandad.Malky
Corker can I ask did the police give you any grief, I am fed up of reading cases in the paper where the police turn the tables and want to charge the innocent party with assault or infringing somebody’s rights etc Please tell me these stories are sensationalised by the press, did the police even hint you did anything wrong? Banksia
Wish you guys had been around when my 93 year old mother was mugged at Intake recently.. good on yer ! Mum said the lad who attacked her was only about 16 and when the police came to question her they admitted that there is little they can do to catch these people. No wonder folk take the law into their own hands these days eh ? By the way.. Mum is fine physically but is now afraid to go out alone, which is very hard on a woman who has always been active and independent. It's the emotional and mental battering involved in these cases that takes the biggest toll.
bagger
Really well done to you:clap:  Bet that old lady thought she wouldn't see her purse again. You should be proud of yourself and I'm glad there's people like you on our streets.

MonkeyLover
I was christmas shopping with the missus today heading down towards argos superstore, when all of a sudden i heard this screaming. I turned round to find a 70 odd year old lady screaming and pulling this lasses hair, the lass was going stop it nanan, stop it nanan, i thought this is a bit dodgy. Seconds later the girl started running down towards argos superstore , obviously then we realised that the old lady had been mugged. I couldnt beleive what i could see in broad daylight, i gave chase as the lass had the womans purse, we caught up with her and i gave her a well deserved rugby tackle outside the ncp car park. The bitch then even had the cheek to say she didnt have the purse even though she was holding it up her top quite clearly. We got the purse off her and i took it back to the old dear when we turned round the lass had vanished into thin air,if your nan aunt mother or any relation for that matter tells you what has happened we have reported it to the police and they would like to speak to lady involved as they may know who the girl is as she is a street drinker round the markets area, and it has also been caught on cctv. One more thing respect to a few "HOODIES" who ran round to make sure everything was ok they dont desrve the bad press they get cause they were sound as owt today. again...........................BRILLIANT! WELL DONE!!
Nirvanaliz
Well done! It really makes me sick how anyone can mug another person, let alone a pensioner. It will obviously have left the poor lady terrified of shopping alone in future so I really wish the evil cow who did it gets what’s coming to her. It’s so good to know there are still people around who give a toss enough to get involved and help someone else in need.
ericsean
well done. i saw about five dicks trying to attack a bus driver so i pulled my car right up to the scum and got out to help ( help the bus driver that is ) the big hard tossers ran off so i followed them in my car and got on the phone to the fuzz, they turned up and found them, but one made a run for it and the police were left holding his jacket and mobile phone. i think they eventually caught up with them. if i didnt have my flip flops on i would have given one of them a right kick up the arse. flip flops eh! any way good on yer pal. you should recieve a cash reward for that. come on south yorkshire police, cough up.
