Legal age to buy a newspaper?

Before i start i am sober # just:help:

 

My darling wife and my git of son are trying to tell me that you have to be a certain age to BUY a NEWSPAPER , i may be half p*ssed but i have never heard such crap in all my life, i think they are trying to take advantage of my delicate state, so if you good people off the forum could back ME up in anyway i would be gratefull.

You have to be 14 to buy.

 

Paperboys/girls can be employed at 13 years old.

In those situations you will see that the paperboys/girls and their parents are given a leaflet instructing them not to read the papers that they carry.

Some news agents display the Daily Sport backwards showing the sports page, that’s a good idea but who is going to stop the kids having a look on there round.
