fnkysknky
Sounds like you don't have the graphics card drivers installed. Did you get a driver CD with the graphics card/motherboard (integrated graphics)?
Guest
Also might need a monitor driver (INF file) but most are ok with plug and play.

crookes
I think you can download drivers.
Dardandec
What you need to do is find out what make and model the graphics card is or if it is onboard graphics, the make and model of the motherboard. Then visit the manufactures web site and download the relevant drivers.
Dardandec
Edit- The make and model of pc will be enough to find the drivers I would have thought.
Guest
the graphics were already installed and iv'e not got any drivers on cd or floppy. Unlikely if you did a fresh install, Windows will have installed it's default drivers hence limiting your resolution and colour depth.
