The first two Albums that mean the most

'Deep purple in rock' I borowed this from a neighbour it started a life long love of rock music for me, i think it was 1970-71

'2112' Rush, just because it reminds me of the best few years of my life.

There have been so many albums that define a moment or period of my life, my music collection is like a timeline of my life, i guess music does that for most of us.

 I'm not sure I understand the question: is it the first two albums I got that made an impression on me or the albums that mean the most to me?

In answer to the first question: Parallel Lines by Blondie - still one of my favourite records - I wanted to be Debbie Harry in the Heart of Glass video - still do to be honest - and then probably Snap! by The Jam. Too ickle to be a proper Jam fan until the end, this started my lifelong love with Paul Weller.

In fact I've probably answered both questions there thinking about it... but I've got to mention the other one I played to death in my yuf - You broke my heart in seventeen places by Tracey Ullman. .. a tale of teenage woe, love and lust . :hihi:

Edna! Me too! :o I've said it before and I'm sure I'll say it again: You ARE my long-lost twin sister, aren't you? :hihi:;)

Anyway, I took the question to be: Which 2 albums were the first to really mean something important to you in your life? But Cloudybay perhaps meant something different to that?

Starsparkle - if ever there is a program called Ms and Miss, (like Mr and Mrs but for platonic friends:) ) we shall have to go on it as contestants. We'd be sure to win!

N.B. Have an update on the other week's activities for you but I'll pm that!

I'm picturing us celebrating the win this very moment - piece of cake! We'd just need to answer what we'd say for ourselves
