Faye12
Yes sorry for my boring post!!! But wondered if there anyway i can remove a stain from an ink cartridge from a shirt? I have washed it twice and also used vanish directly on the stain, wondered if there were 'old wives tales' that i could try. Thanks:help:

JoeP
There used to be a range of products called 'Stain Devils' that were geared around removing particular stains. I don't know whether they still exist or not.
cgksheff
These usually work after all else fails!
commuter
if it was from a toner cartridge you should have used cold water as printers/copiers use heat to stick the toner to the page so you've probably just guaranteed its going to stay put
Faye12
Ok think it may need binning haha.
medusa
Have you tried one of the oxygen based stain removers on it? Something like Oxi Clean, or Vanish Oxy Action? These work really well on organic stains that aren't oil based- removing most things from blackcurrant juice and curry to iodine.
Faye12
No i shall have a try thanks Medusa, it has been on a while though maybe left it a bit too long but will see.
medusa
I've used them on really old blackcurrant juice stains on a white blouse- and Oxi Clean worked. It's worth a go.
merrydown
You could try soaking the ink stain in hot milk, or dabbing it with salt and lemon juice or methylated spirits might remove it.
