Sora
Doubt it, if they have cancelled mine they will have cancelled them all. No wonder Woolies issued a profit warning the other day. oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained
AnnElk
If it looks too good to be true..... Still, nice they've got all your names, addresses and credit card details now........
littleboo
If it looks too good to be true..... Still, nice they've got all your names, addresses and credit card details now........ the cup is never half full for some people! I would have happily given my details to a reputable company such as Woolworths for a shot at a 42" tv for 150.
Darbees
If it looks too good to be true..... Still, nice they've got all your names, addresses and credit card details now........ Worth the risk, it sometimes works and is true. I once bought several hundred heaters from a DIY chain due to their not working the deal out properly before advertising. GSK
This sounds more like a scam than a genuine mistake. Think about it, this is really good for woolies ... Consider all the traffic they're getting to their site, the free publicity etc. They clearly don't have to honor their 'mistake', and if this wasn't a mistake, it would have been an excellent publicity stunt. How does this benefit them as a publicity stunt? I'm not going to shop with them any more than I might have done anyway. It just shows that they made a mistake and some of us tried to take advantage of it. They will have in fact lost out by it because it clearly brought their site down for a while and they will have lost "genuine" business.

Moonman
being the greedy mare i am i ordered 6!!! but then they cancelled my order when checking the order status:( never mind though...the thought of me getting 10 grands worth of t.v's for 900 quid took my mind off the stinking hangover i had from yesterday for most of this afternoon.they DONT have to honour any orders placed on thier website, you just have too look at the terms and conditions section, which basically tells you that if they make a mistake on pricing then they can just revoke the order. not fair but fair enough.....if you get what i mean MM > very hungover
littleboo
I Want One! we all did:( ahhh well, I didn't have a 42" Tv this morning and I ain't got one now....look on the bright side... I didn't spend 150.00 either!!! And seem as Woolies don't have to honour the sales, the fool who made the blunder probably hasn't got the sack just before Christmas!
