voodoodanny
I love Thai with a passion and like to cook it too. That said, I would much rather go to Siam Inter on London Road! The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly. A lot of Thai people eat there too which must say something!
Dreamer
Baan Thai on the end of London Road is an excellent restuarant but pricy. Wild Rice on London Road do Thai takeaway and is meant to be good but not been myself.
Ade65
Hi, I'd agree Baan Thai is good food - as is Baan Nah at Broomhill, Sheffield's first Thai restaurant. Ade

Ade65
Hi, Baan Thai is a good choice, but if you are on Fulwood Road, Baan Nah is a lot nearer...it is smaller, and very friendly; but both are worth a try. Ade
voodoodanny
I'm sure you'll enjoy, but seriously though, don't overlook Siam Inter on London Road for a visit sometime. It's a fraction cheaper than Baan Thai, really friendly and authentic and the food is fantastic; I say this as a chef myself!

Siam Inter is by far the best - it is not gimmicky (Bhan Thai style) but it is well decorated enough to feel like a special meal (The one at broomhill isn't IMO). The food is AMAZING and the staff are lovely. But I'm not a chef!

I absolutely loved the little parrot carved from a carrot that they decorate the mixed starter platter with. It's touches like that that show you how much those guys care about what they do!
