donkey
There is a world of difference between happily confident and stroppy self-righteous mares. Only joshing.
Rivelin6
Actually Norbertcolon women mature at a very young age unlike men but if you mean age then all the women I know at 50 are in alot better shape than men at the same age. We are more mature, stronger in many ways, age better and live longer- glad I'm a woman.

Women mature mentally earlier than men, just as they age mentally earlier than men. They also lead their opponents in the time in the physical stakes, such as it takes them to start to benefit from wrinkles, develop varicose veins, grow lardy bodies, develop hormonal problems and generally become ‘old’ ahead of their time. A little more time spent in the squash court, on the golf course or out on the hills would benefit them far more than wearing a dip into the sofa watching soaps. It would be a great shame, if not a travesty, if only one-sided views were permitted, without tolerance of contrary or thought-provoking views. Is that really the case on here? rubydazzler
Now as to the serious question that D2J has posed for us ... *ponder* I don't think most women ever mature in the sense of "grow older". Most of us are forced to acquire a semblance of it, because of the the responsibilities of pregnancy, home and family and shepherding the man in their life through his. But once we've got rid of all that heavy stuff and have an empty nest, well we just revert back to the giddy flibbertigibbets we always were underneath That's the point at which we jettison the boring old fart in the corner and run off with a hot bit of rough 20 years younger than us ... or if we don't we'd really like to I think that's probably what's happened to poor old Nobut, he does seem rather bitter, don't you think?
