If successfull, I intend to sell the car in the new year, and travell by Bus/Tram from January 2007. Does anyone know what the times are between Dec 24 - 27Th (I don't work those days) and over new year ? If I can go Green, then so can you. JohnLacey
Christmas is not a green time of year. You want to move around you use private transport. That's the only way.
Harleykim
I hate public transport. I was on the bus the other day, there was a woman with her 3 kids, all the kids were eating crisps without closing their mouths. Then 2 chavvy girls with their hair in a side ponytail got on, listening to their music on their phone loudly, singing to the dreadful dance tunes. Then an old lady got on, who obviously had a health problem, she was shaking. Everyone was whispering, "why is she shaking?" "look at her shaking". I don't think I will be relying on public transport if I don't have to.

satman2222
Your having a giraffe! Christmas is the last time to be getting used to riding the peasant waggon! The service is so sporadic you will soon be back in the car. If you need to be somewhere at a certain time and you expect the journey to take 30 mins, make sure you allow at least 3 hours as most of the timetabled services either don't arrive or are early and you may have to wait an hour for the next one. Don't forget to quote Scott to the missis as you leave the house "I'm going outside now - I may be some time..............."
