Don't anybody comment please until we get the full SP please :suspect:

Have you contacted the breeder first? Many dogs come with a covenant that they must be returned to the breeder for rehoming ;)

Can you give us a little more info or pics too?

i have this dog living at my house at the moment as mozza has a few personal problems that dont need going into, the breedser has been contacted and the dog will be going back to northampton tomorrow, unless anyone on the forum would like to rehome it the price will be dropped to £350 the same as the breeder will pay to take this dog back but you will also get the training cage, basket and bowls etc,the bulldog is a bitch and has had first jab although it is pure bred their is no papers hence the price

the dog is nearly housed trained and is deffinatly trained to paper

daz, mozza - did Mozza get a contract with the pup? If it says in the contract that the pup must go back to the breeder, it doesn't matter how much they are willing to pay, she must go back to the breeder.

Mozza can be taken to court for breach of contract if they rehome the pup rather than taking her back to the breeder. Breeders often like to know where their pups are going.

Please do take her back to the breeder, they should have more knowledge in the breed, who makes a suitable owner, and they may have someone on their waiting list who will take this pup.

thanks no their was no contract the breeder dosnt realy want the dog back as he has stopped advertising, but will take it back as thier is personal problems

In that case, daz, it may be worthwhile contacting the breed club - I don't know them sorry, but I'm sure you could google it, as they may have a welfare section.

All I'm thinking is, the pup sounds so well cared for so far that you really want to find her the right home and a breed club welfare will have more experience in the right owners and rehoming.

Plus, by advertising the pup on the breed club, you will get people genuinely interested in the breed.

It's a shame the breeder isn't the type to do a contract, and I think if the breeder of one of my dogs didn't particularly want the dog back, I'd go through the breed club welfare in order to find the right owner to rehome to.

Good luck

sorry i have no camera to take pics the puppy is only 10 weeks old now,i would love to keep her myself and if i had the time and money would buy her but i spend to much time at work,as it is at the moment i dont think mozza would be able to keep her even if she was fostered for a few months, plus i think the dog needs to go to one home where she is going to stay instead of been passed around

Would you be able to keep her between you if she lived at yours and Mozza was able to walk her? or could you club together and pay for a pet walking service?

Dogs are amazingly adaptable - if you're out all day they sleep then, and will happily spend their evening with you when you get home :)
