Cis_H
I have one of these - think its about 40 quid for the Yorkshire card and we have saved that much and then some since we got the card in September. Not all the places we go mark the card, so it can be used again. Used it at Artisan for my birthday - very very nice, and the saving we made on food meant we could afford a really nice bottle of wine :-) As it covers all of Yorkshire and also some national restaurant chains, I can see us using it quite a bit - and it has encouraged us to eat at places where we wouldn't normally go. medusa
I had something similar a few years ago and found that not only had I overestimated the number of times that I eat out, but because of the individual conditions applied by the restaurants it was really hard to book with them and get a meal free (not at weekends, must buy starters etc) and the number of local restaurants that were participating in the scheme that I actually wanted to visit was very low too. mrquiet
Just do like I did and get the free trial. When this expires and they write to you offering you Full Price membership ignore the letter, and then wait for the next letter offering you Half Price Membership. I have done this for 3 years now and it always seems to work. I am now on Platinum Membership (which includes a half price hotel book) for less than normal membership. You can also use the card up in Leeds and on the East Coast.
