charlie9865
Well im all done my christmas shopping is complete. Im really impressed with my self i normally wait till week b4 christmas but iv done already. Got the last from MEADOWHELL today and yes the place certainly lived up to its name. It was funny though to watch how stupid some people are, anyone would think the shops where gonna shut forever after xmas. I saw 2 women arguing over a top that was in the sales at adams, and another 2 people dahing to take the last snowman outfit for their baby. And morrisons is as bad oh gosh everyone get down their cos there will be no food at christmas. You dont hardly see anyone in there any normal weekend. Then december appears and everyone is there buying food as if their is gonna be a shortage. It's absolute madness and gets worse every year. charlie

Think sales have started early quiet a few shops had sales on adams and mothercare and a few more. It's bonkers and as my great grandad would of said world war 2 was more graceful then a load of women on a xmas shop. Nan quotes that to me every year she shops online bless her. charlie

I don't think too many shops would dare do things half price the day after xmas, i don't see any doing that, maybe on decorations or cards, wrapping paper and such, but shops would be boycotted if they all did that. Most shops wait at least a month or so before putting things in a sale. I remember one year trying to buy a real christmas tree on christmas eve, i thought it would be cheaper as the man would get stuck with them all , no way. he explained that he had regular customers ever year buying his trees a week or more before xmas and it wouldn't be fair to them, he said he would rather throw them away than do that to his regular annual customers. Its not even a mnth after, the sales start when they want them to. but mainly start between boxing day and 1st of jan thats why they are called the january sales, absolute brilliants i have fun then cos im mainly spending my xmas money.
