jazza
Has anybody had any problems with HDNL delivering parcels from various catalogue/mail order companies etc. They have so called tried to deliver my parcel on 2 occasions. First excuse was unable to deliver address query. So i checked the delivery address that should be on my shipment (which was correct), 2nd excuse unable to deliver can not locate address however on the same day the same firm delivered a shipment to my work colleague at our work address. iasked the driver for my parcel and he says he only delivers the items that have got lost in shipment He said mine had probably got lost or put on the wrong van. This has been going on for a week now as every day im checking their website and contacting the company i ordered from. Still to no avail and it has not even been returned to sender. You can not contact HDNL at all as they dont list a telephone number or an email. You have to contact the people you ordered your goosd from and get them to contact them. I wonder if its literally fell of the back of a lorry as they say.
jazza
LOL Its now landed on 6 days later than advised. The box even had a small map showing our company location. I find this mind boggling. Our company is just of Petre Street so its not as if its hard for a courier to find as the only buildings round here are factories with couriers around all day
Hook
I got a delivery from Amazon the other day that HDNL delivered when nobody was in, they left it around the back, outside, in the pouring rain. Thankfully I came home about 15minutes after they'd dropped it off, so it hadn't soaked through the packaging.

GordonK
Right - If anyone needs to contact "Home Delivery Network Limited" they can be found at 0151 2908500 I think that HDNL are part of the Littlewoods Home Shopping group - in any event they share the same address in Speke, Liverpool. I can't understand why, considering their affiliation, that they are so bad at what they do. If anyone does contact them my experience is that they will recieve a courteous response. Maybe if they now start to receive complaints by telephone they will sharpen up their act !

mrmist
The home delivery folk are marvellous. Nothing stops them delivering your parcel. Six foot fence? No problem, just chuck it over the top into whatever's behind it. Pouring rain? No issue - leave the cardboard box under a nearby bush for protection. Burntlego
They left my parcel in next door's dirty blue recycling bin round the back of my house, even though I've got a perfectly fine, dry, empty shed with my house number on that they could have used. Idiots.
Shazbat
I've replied in a number of threads about Home Delivery Network; you can call the number on the card they leave you (if you're lucky) but that's just a call-centre. However, they did get the depot manager to ring me almost immediately to explain why their driver was lying about carding me twice when on both occasions my OH was in the house ... but that's a different rant. They are cr*p basically.
