Zinger549
Someone I know has a friend who works at a swimming pool cleaning it. He was saying when they have Women only sessions the Asian women wear garments over there swimming wear. He was saying that he would not go swimming there because of this as some of the women don't look clean, and you do not know where their clothes have been. What do you think about this

angle20
I'm not impressed. Ideally everyone should shower before going into a public pool. Why is this practice necessary if it is a women-only session?
me-and-pippo
You could say the the same thing about any person, thats why the pool water is chlorinated to help stop cross contamination?

What do you think about this I think your friend has issues, you don't know where anybody or their swimming trunks/costumes have been at public swimming baths I fail to see why you should single out any one ethnic group in this regard. Besides the water in swimming baths is cleaned, filtered and treated with chemicals to keep it safe so even if dirty non-white people (or even dirty white people of whom there are quite a few you know) go swimming it should be perfectly safe. There's a significant difference between a bathing costume and full dress. I understand that when a contamination incident occurs (eg from vomiting) a pool is closed and completely drained. I understand that when a contamination incident occurs (eg from vomiting) a pool is closed and completely drained. Really and what is this significant difference as regards swimming pools? When I was a kid I took several swimming badges which involved jumping into the pool in full clothing and then swimming about the place and treading water for extended periods of time, I don't recall the baths having to be closed down immediately afterwards. I expect this practice is still common, do you object to white children swimming in clothes or just brown women?

So how can anyone know if someone has peed in the pool?
camping_gaz
if its all women why are they wearing all the paraphernalia just seems stupid
artisan
I thought they only had to wear it when they were in the presence of men who are not blood family. But why they wear it at all baffles me. These are people who want us to treat them as our equals, yet they follow these strange rituals:loopy:
