You'll probably need to boil it up to get rid of any sulphites used to preserve it, let it cool to room temperature before adding yeast and you'll need a fair amount of pectic enzyme as jam tends to have pectin added to help it set. 6kg of jam is probably enough for 2 gallons of wine.
