haddockman
Can you tell the difference between haddock and cod from chip shops?? If so which do you consider to be superior?? Personally haddock is the fish for me, anyone else got any views on this??

DaBouncer
Prefer Cod because they remove the skin in chippies.
haddockman
They clearly do not!!!! Haddock is a smooth juicy silky fish whereas cod is as dry and a nun!! Haddock, clearly is the preferable fish!!
JoeP
I genuinely can't tell teh difference from the local chip shop!! Whether that's because I've never had them cooked well or not, I don't know, but from ANY chippy I just can't tell the difference! When I cook them from fresh I can, and I like them both - I'd proably go for cod, though.
