suzan
last saturday i had sky enstalled after giving them 30 days notice to fit it, this is because i was on telewest at the time and wanted that cancelled the same day as sky was fitted. the engineer from sky asked for the viewing card which hadnt yet arrived. he then said he would order me 1 and would be here in 2 days, that never arrived so i called them and was told to wait another 2 days. to cut a long story short, after calling them again tonight and i was on the phone almost an hour, i was told to wait another 3-5 working days for it to arrive. i think its appaling, that call alone tonight must have cost a fortune, its not even a local number its an 0870. think i might have telewest back, at least with them all calls are free. gempud
Sounds like a pain in the behind but just think of how good it is once you get it. As sad as it is our household couldn't live without Sky and Sky Plus.
kate55
We have just switched to telewest from sky because of all the problems with sky and main one being that the phone calls cost so much because you are on hold for so long. We are saving £20 a month now and are only missing a few doc channels and kids and music channels, got movies and sports and that tv drive which is similar to sky plus but better - you can record an extra channel at the same time and the memory is bigger. I should have got rid of sky ages ago.
FallenAngel6
To tell you truthfully skys a bit crap lately anyway. The slightest bit of wind and all the channels are down. Watch where they place your satelite dish they placed ours at the side of the house so the wind blew straight at it. From Fallen

Swiller
Hi there, I work for Telewest Broadband, and would be more than happy to assist you in your enquiries regarding reconnection. With Sky, customers have a cooling off period of upto 30 days which it sounds you are still within. I'm sure that Telewest will be able to tailor make a package for you and the people in your home. Remember, a cheaper service (sky in some instances) is not a better service. (*note* this applies to all Also to point out, I won't be throwing money at you asking you to come back, however, I would (if your interested) find which package(s) suit you best to ensure you get value for money. If you are intersted PM me for more info and I will contact you regarding your enquiry.
