Discount is available between 30 th November and 10 th December 2006 inclusive on branch held stock only. 5. 40% saving only applies to a maximum of £500 spend in one transaction. 6. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with Buy 2 Get 3rd Free or any other offer. No further discounts apply. 7. Discount available in participating stores only (excluding Main Line stations, Petrol Forecourt and Franchise partner outlets). 8. Only one voucher per person. 9. There is no cash alternative. 10. Meaks
What does that mean ? That its only on stuff they have in stock I expect. Which would go without saying I would have thought, unless they have an ordering service.

Bago
I kept thinking whether this is legitimate, or whether it's one of those web scams. Then again, even for suppliers, why didn't they specify a minimum spend, rather than a maximum of ? If you're another supplier, you will buy bulk, rather than a small amount anyway. I don't know whether they will cripple themselves financially like this. Then again, they hold the rights not to sell the items as they like anyway. 40% on Champagnes is indeed a bargain! It's all genuine, and if you read the link seriessix just posted, Threshers group say they'll still make a profit. To be fair, they are already effectively offering up to 33% off all their wines & champagne anyway as it's all covered by a '3 for 2' offer that has been running for some time. Don't forget that it's 40% of their prices, which may or may not make them cheaper than normal supermarket prices, so it's worth double checking it's the bargain you hope it is before splashing out. Bago
I wondered about whether they would up the prices before discounting. So I don't know until I've checked out the prices. But *however*... for those into their red wines, and 2005 French being a great year. Drink your heart out ! Kekekeke... I rang the Chesterfield Rd branch, and they said this is indeed a legitimate offer. The lady said that it's been all over Sky news as well !
