Crikey! The size of the Playstation 3

Recommended Posts

And that's partly why I'm so anti-Sony, some of their fanboys are complete retards, especially the American ones...

Umm yes, obviously that was the work of Sony fanboys, not criminals looking to make a buck on ebay. You really don't think things through before you post do you? :loopy:

I think it looks pretty good.

The size is understandable when you remember it's a liquid cooled system, running nearly silently, with an internal PSU instead of an external brick + all the other goodies. It's only 1" bigger in every dimension than the 360. Then again it does have a convex curve instead of the 360 concave.

In the end, it's all relative.

I've just seen the inside of a PS3 and it's not liquid cooled, it has a huge copper/alloy heat pipe + fan headsink.

I find it so funny that people are argue to hard for either Sony or Xbox.

They both are great systems and both have their speciality games.

For that reason alone I will have a PS3 AND an Xbox 360 (as well as a Nitendo Wii).

Why swear allegance to just one brand? Really makes me chuckle (rich being the instigator every time :hihi: )

I really wish Rich would stop taking the bait every time someone mentions the PS3.

I have an X-Box 360, love it and personally preferred the original to the PS2. For these reasons I will not be buying a PS3 (consumer choice in action).

I'm happy with that, and happy with people buying PS3's to. Just makes most 360 owners look like Sony hating morons when we're not!

Having read the article, it sounds a real beastly beast. Hmmm maybe time to put my ZX Spectrum away for good.

why ? Nothing wrong tape decks :hihi: Joking aside .We had a CBM64 , nothing like making games on your HiFi tape2tape recording:hihi:

The ZxSpectrum maybe dead as a bit of hardware but the games will live forever on phones and $9,000 USD PS3 in the form of Emulation. Modern high graphic games come and go but Horris gose sking will always STAY !!!!!

It's still going! People have made compact flash card interfaces and games are still being written.

I've heard that Sony are sueing people who import PS3's, is that correct?

Only reason I ask is having read that article I can call my American friend and ask him to bring me a PS3 before christmas if he can find one. Especially at the current conversion rate!
