pc-med
Someone posted a site to look up private reg plates a while ago ... one where you can input a private plate and it tells you the true year of the car. Anyone know what that site is please - need asap. Thanks

Ashcroft
try an insurance group(tesco is best) on net, type in details of car, then press get a quote. that should help
Beancounter
Go to the DVLA website, select vehicle Information, then number plate and registration mark information, on the right hand side of the page select vehicle details enquiry. You need the plate number and make of the car.
BobbyBunny
No I meant on the side, the search option - search for the thread. Might help.
Ginner
This site offers details of cars from their reg - but you have to pay. I typed my reg in and it returned the right make and specific model for free. Age and other potential buyer relevent info costs you £10.
