Meaks
Not sure that the Red Deer has a 'real' fire though? TBH I can't think of anywhere in town with a real fire. Does the Bath have one?

Bilge
The Old Queen's Head attached to Pond St bus station may have the potential. Although I've not seen it in action, last time I was in I did take note that tongs, poker, scuttle and all that malarkey were in place so it is presumably a real one. The Red Deer fire on the right hand side as you go in is a gas pretend-coal fire [boo, sell-out, scabs etc.] I can't remember if the one in the left hand room is 'real' or not.
