Arrange a meeting and don't turn up.. How rude!

Recommended Posts

Today I went to an elderly residents home to help her as she was expecting a visit from a lib-dem representative who wanted to discuss concerns with our area and the recent press coverage.

Despite the lady saying she didnt really have anything to tell him he made an appointment to visit her at home today at 1pm.

I went along to observe and offer help if needed and the flippin guy didn't even bother to turn up! Not even a phone call.

So our yellow friends, if thats how you intend to gain votes I would have a word with each other before you waste a pensioners time again. Shes gone out now, got sick of waiting.

Exactly, thats time she could have spent in the post office or M&S, or perhaps in the line at the bank, at lunchtime, with a huge bag of coins to put into her savings account.

I'm from the other side right now, I have a meeting at half 2 in Barnsley but my car has broken down and I can't get through to them on the phone to let them know. very annoying

It's called a lack of courtesy to others and it's not nice!

Email them (or email someone who can phone them)?
