sufc_tom
Alot of controversy surrounds whether or not he is actually dead. I believe he is dead. It is a shame because he was extremely talented.
Lestat
2Pac is dead? But he's got a new album out. Indeed, he's released a new album most years since he is supposed to have died, including a couple of live albums. If he is dead then he must be the most prolific dead performer ever. Don't the beatles & Elvis do the same every year too though? 2pac was the greatest rap artist ever and will probably never be bettered, the documentary on TV last year basically put all the blame on Suge Knight and it was also mentioned that Snoop Dogg was to be next on the list!...seems he's already has a few attempts on his life. Did this documentary also point out that 2Pac was a convicted sex offender who was only out of prison at the time of his fatal shooting because he was on bail pending an appeal? Did it also point out that hours before he was fatally shot 2Pac led a gang which carried out an unprovoked assault on a man in a hotel because he had been identified by one of 2Pac's gang as a member of a rival gang? Did it also point out that 2Pac was hopelessly deluded about his own significance, claiming that he was changing the world and treating his prediction of his own violent death as a prophecy of pseudo-political significance rather than as an admission that he was a nasty piece of work who had made a lot of enemies? Some people may think of 2Pac as a martyr but he was nothing of the sort. He played a so-called "game" and he died playing that game but he didn't have to play it and he certainly didn't have to play it the way he did. However, he chose to play it. You know you should really go to the police with all that info.
the_mandarin
Were they listening to their own music when they were shot? If so then it could have been suicide Jokes apart, I think 2Pac was killed on 13 September 1996 and all his albums released thereafter have been "Posthumous created studio albums" I have always wondered why these rappers are always out to get each other, if not through their songs then in person! upinwath
Beat me to it. And me. 2 pac's death may have been tragic for 2 pac but it was a massive bonus for music lovers.
