LouPee
Does anyone know if i can activate my single licence copy of quark 6 onto my laptop. I know that you used to have to own 2 licences but according to quark web site it changed in 2004. Does anyone run 2 copies at the same time? mr chris
"Fair usage" policy means you should be able to have one copy installed on two machines (such as work and home) as long as they're not used at the same time. I have the Adobe CS Suite installed on my work machine and this laptop - I even phoned Adobe to make sure I'd read the license agreement correctly! I had, and they said it was perfectly okay to have it installed on two machines. After all, what you're paying for is the license to use the software. It should be fine, so long as (a) the software is legally purchased in the first place and (b) you're the only person using it at any one time. You could always switch to Adobe in the long run (just being cheeky)
