Which version of Legend of Spyro should I get? Xbox or DS?

I want the game Legend of Spyro: New Beginning for Christmas, but I'm not sure which version to ask for out of the DS or Xbox... Which version do you think I should get?

As for the decision, I didn't get either in the end. Might still get DS version on eBay at some point when I'm not skint or got more important stuff to buy.

well its back and new people are reading it lol

our lass had it on ps2 and got it when we bought a ds

she likes the original spyro games but reckons this 1 was crap
