Hayley1
We had our done by Cosy Home. recently, and so far I think it's making a difference in that the house stays warmer a bit longer. They wer very nice fellows, and it was done in just an afternoon. (not sure of cost cos we had a grant)
pete_jim
There is an energy conservation service 0800512012 who will make an appointment for someone to come and survey the house then do the actual work. There is a grant available too. We phoned a few weeks ago, someone called, made an appointment to check/survey the house, he's been now and they should be coming to fill the walls (oh how I wanted to type fill our cavities) before Christmas. They claim the grant back from the government and it's costing us £250 for a 4 bed detached. The company doing our's is called Millfold and the bloke who called to check the house was very pleasant. I remember years ago my father having our house done and it made a big difference.
