Missing something about Sheffield???

A few months ago I set up home down in Norwich and to be honest I really like the place, the lifestyle seems to be so much more laid back and I seem to be a lot happier when leaving home to set off to work, so overall I'm really glad I made the move!

The thing that im puzzled about is I seem to be missing something?.....There seems to be a part of Sheffield which I have'nt quite discovered, but im missing somethings like mad! (I know it sounds daft by the way)

Obviously things such as leaving family behind, and my favourite football team Sheffield United are having an effect on me, but I dont know?....I just feel like i've lost something????.....

Has anybody else suffered similar effects when leaving home to move away?

After 26 years in Sheffield, Chichester is just a little bit different!

Apart from not knowing my way around (although I am learning), the water tasting funny, the people talking funny and the beer not having a head on it, it is quite nice down here!

Property prices are a bit of a shocker.

The biggest difference is not knowing people, and not bumping into people i know every time i go out (which used to happen in Sheffield all the time).

Give me 26 years - I'll get there!

(Still a regular Forum Lurker!)
