Recommended Posts

ive been tickling the victoria keys, close in on ledgering tackle, hit a large leg sized pike and two arms in the same session. not to bad a little weedy at the mo. no good for spinning but looks good, well over 10 ft in the centre. keep to the margins and keep your baits still, u should be laughing.

big ray or "snoozy" as i like to call him. we where carp fishing in a pay pond nr sheffield, i had a 10llb carp, early on and ray hit a couple a 6 and 8, as i settled back to my rods, i heard his alarm run, and run, and run, it ran for probably the best part of 30 seconds, yep he was sleeping he woke and hit into this fish, or ghost of a fish, he missed it, twice this happened, so if u know him call him snoozy. lots of love kris .xxx

All of these are now out of date by a long chalk.

The record Barbel is now a shade over 21lbs, Chub have just gone over 9lbs 8oz, record Roach is now 4lb 6oz, and the Mirror carp record is now around 65lbs!

There's NO gossip on the pike websites about a "40" coming out anywhere, never mind the Flask. I know pike anglers are VERY secretive about WHERE they catch big'uns from, but not to shout about catching one? :suspect:

Baliffs will ALWAYS tell you "Oh, Nessie was caught in your swim only yesterday, but we didn't have a camera/ it was dark/ sunspots ruined the film"! :hihi:]

Ask in Kerfoots Fishing Tackle shop, and they will verify this. As the man who caught it works there.

Unless my knowledge of Geography and History have suddenly become very redundant overnight, Wales is very much part of Britain.
