White horse funeral on city road

saw a funeral procesion today on city Rd. horse and carridge drawn, and there was a little coffin. It was so heartbreaking to see. there was loads and loads of cars following with a police bike escort. We did notice every car had pink ribbons and everyone in the cars was wearing pink. I truly hope the little princess rests in peace.

I had to clear my tears pretty quick as there was nowhere to pull over.

When my friends baby daughter died they advised against doing a full funeral procession.

 

We travelled the streets and met the hearse with the tiny white coffin at the gates of the crematorium.

I used to pray to god to be in a little coffin like that. Why do children die when the parents don't want them to die, but the ones who do want their children to die don't? When I was a child it proved to me that there is no god.

My little brother recently died in guys hospital and we have to do it all on friday morning god knows what its gonna be like hell i suppose.

that was the funeral of kirsten slater you saw i went to that funeral it was the most moving ceromany ever you just cudnt hold bk the tears.

she was only eight she was born with very little brain and docters at the hospital said she would only last a few hours but she defied the odds to live to eight years old. she got an infection that she couldnt fight and died in her mums arms with family surrounding her.

she was such a popular little girl ppl had to stand in the church bcaus there just wasnt enough room for everyone.

forgot to say the coffin was white with the disney princesses painted on to it. they had to have a herse just for the flowers. all the cars you saw where just for the burial as the service was held at hackenthorpe christ church where she was christened where there was even more mouners so if you saw the cars you only saw a fraction of the ppl that attended the main service

It breaks my heart to hear of little ones leaving us to early..

 

I saw a childs funeral a while back on City Road.. They had the horses, and the number of cars that were following was astounding.. I was waiting in the traffic queue whilst they made there way into the crematorium and by the time the last car went past, I was in tears.. I had to pull over and sort myself out as I couldn't see anything for my tears..

 

Very sad.. :(
